Bhopal: An Inter-religious Dialogue was organized by the Inter-religious Dialogue Committee, BSSS. The program aimed to have exceptional religious discourse to foster mutual understanding, respect, and tolerance between people of different religious faiths by creating a space for open conversation and learning about each other’s beliefs and practices, ultimately contributing to a more peaceful and harmonious society.
In his welcome address, principal Dr Fr John PJ expressed his happiness in conducting a meaningful program that encourages love, peace, humanity, brotherhood, and respect for all religions. The speakers for the session were Fr. Alfred D’Souza PRO of Archdiocese of Bhopal, Prof. Ashok Kumar Nema from Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College, Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Kaur Principal of Career College and Mufti Ali Qadar Hussaini-Nayaab Qazi Sheher Bhopal.
All the speakers emphasized the fact of living as a human, creating no discrimination between anyone or any religion, caste, creed, or gender. Today we lack humanity, love, peace, and endurance amongst ourselves believing in what people say causing rifts and differences. The speakers stressed the fact that we should educate ourselves so that love, respect, and mutual understanding are reflected in our behavior. Loving one another as thyself is most important as we all belong to one supreme power.
