Bhopal: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at The Bhopal School of Social Sciences successfully hosted its annual NSS orientation program on 31st August 2024. The event, aimed at introducing new volunteers to the scheme’s objectives and activities, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 600 students.
The program featured informative sessions by dignitaries, cultural programs, team-building exercises, and felicitations to awardees and achievers, focusing on community service, social responsibility, and skill development. Dr. A K Shroti ( Chief Guest), Dr. R K Vijay (State NSS Officer), Dr. A K Saxena (Program Coordinator), and Mr. Rahul Singh Parihar (Keynote Speaker) shared their experiences and insights, inspiring the volunteers to make a positive impact.
I am thrilled to see the excitement and commitment among our new volunteers, said Dr Fr John P J, Principal BSSS. NSS Programme Officer Dr. D.B. Singh said that this orientation program marks the beginning of a remarkable journey, and we look forward to making a difference in our community together.
The program was completed under the supervision of program officers Dr. D B Singh and Dr. Naina Singh and the able leadership of senior volunteers.
