Sagar: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the land of Bundelkhand is the land of donors. Bundelkhand was a backward area for years, there was lack of roads, electricity and water. The development works have been undertaken in this area in the last 18 years. There is no shortage of water now. Today’s green Bundelkhand is the contribution of Madhya Pradesh government. Recently, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of Petrochemical Complex at Bina Refinery. Due to which thousands of youth will get employment. Shri Khattar was addressing the forum meeting in Surkhi Municipal Council after the entry of Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Sagar district today.
Khattar said that CM Shri Chouhan has done a lot of work for the people of Madhya Pradesh. Adequate arrangements for electricity and water have been made. Today Madhya Pradesh produces grains equal to Haryana. The people of Haryana eat wheat bread produced from farms irrigated with Narmada water with pleasure. The double engine government has also launched many schemes in the interest of the poor. Under PM Awas Yojana, apart from housing, people have been provided electricity and water facilities.
Shri Khattar distributed Rs 450 to the eligible women beneficiaries of Ladli Bahnn Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana. Welcomed the scheme of providing domestic gas cylinders. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a government college will be opened in Surkhi. Revenue Minister Govind Singh Rajput informed about the construction works worth crores approved for the development of Surkhi assembly constituency.
