- Holistic development of the area will gain momentum
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has taken the initiative to schedule Cabinet meetings along with industry conclaves in divisional and zonal areas beyond the capital Bhopal for the holistic development of the state. The first Cabinet meeting of the Mohan government outside the capital was held in Jabalpur in January 2024. The next Cabinet will be held on October 5 in Singrampur of Damoh district. District administration Preparations are complete for the Cabinet meeting in Singrampur.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said Veerangana Rani Durgavati’s contribution has been historic. Singaurgarh Fort is near Singrampur village in Damoh district. This area is historically recorded as the capital of Rani Durgavati. On the occasion of the 500th birth centenary of Veerangana Durgavati, it has been decided to hold a Cabinet meeting in Singrampur in her honour. On October 5, all the members of the State Cabinet and administrative officers will reach Singrampur, where important decisions will be taken regarding the development of the state.
Ladli Behna Sammelan will also be held
Along with the Cabinet meeting, Ladli Behna Sammelan will also be held in Singrampur village. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will transfer the amount in the accounts of the beneficiaries of the state’s Ladli Behna Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The Chief Minister will also interact with the Behnas.
Cabinet members to tour Singrampur
The members of the Cabinet will also visit the historical places located in and around Singrampur. They will visit the fort of Rani Durgavati, worship in the Rani temple and offer floral tribute to the statue of Rani Durgavati. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav accompanied by all other ministers will also plant saplings here.
It is worth mentioning here that after becoming the Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav had first decided that division-wise review meetings would be held in the state to resolve the problems of the citizens, for good governance, development works and field implementation of public welfare schemes. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took the first review meeting on 17 September 2023 at Ujjain headquarters. In the same sequence, review meetings were held in other divisions also and the status of administration and implementation of schemes at the field level was assessed.
