Can’t see or hug mother: Hasina’s daughter Saima

Dhaka, Aug 8 (UNI) Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Hasina Sheikh’s daughter Saima Wazed on Thursday said she is heartbroken that she cannot see or hug her mother during the country’s ongoing political crisis and difficult times, media reports said.

Saima Wazed also known as Putul, currently working with the World Health Organization as the South East Asian Regional director, expressed her feelings in post on X while reacting to Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, Dhaka Tribune reported.

Wazed further expressed her grief over the loss of life and the current ongoing political unrest in Bangladesh, media reports said.
