India records largest single-day spike of 6,088 Covid-19 cases

India on Friday witnessed the largest single-day spike in Covid-19 cases with 6,088 fresh infections being registered in the past 24 hours, pushing the tally of infections to 1,18,447, as per the Union Health Ministry.
