CH-3 Rover traverses over 100 m in moon

Chennai, Sep 2 (UNI) The Pragyan Rover deployed by the Lander on board the third Lunar Mission Chandrayaan-3, has traversed over 100 metres on the moon’s south polar region and it is continuing.

Minutes after the successful launch of first Sun Mission Aditya-L1 spacecraft in the intended Orbit, ISRO said “Pragyan 100. Meanwhile, over the Moon, Pragan Rover has traversed over 100 meters and continuing.”

ISRO also shared a picture of the travel of Rover’s path in the moon’s surface from Shiv Shakti point, place named where the Vikram Lander landed on August 23, making the Chandryaaan-3 mission success.
