Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the Chambal region is writing a golden chapter in the industrial development of the state. He emphasized that Chambal’s land is fertile, productive, and sustainable. The unwavering spirit of Chambal is unmatched. He made these remarks on Friday while performing the Bhoomi-Poojan of a Rs. 1,000 crore modern mega unit of Elixir Industries in Malanpur Industrial Area of Bhind district. On this occasion, Bhoomi-Poojan was also conducted for 7 units at Gwalior Readymade Garment Park and 11 units at the industrial area of Piparseva, Morena district.
Dr. Yadav highlighted that Chambal is now recognized for its development. Many industrial units have been established in the region due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and the commitment of the state government. These industries are providing employment opportunities to unemployed youth.
The event was attended by Panchayat and Rural Development Minister & District In-Charge Minister Shri Prahlad Patel, New & Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, District Panchayat President Smt. Kamna Singh Bhadoria, National President, National Commission on Schedule Cast, Lal Singh Arya, Gohad MLA Keshav Desai, Lahar MLA Shri Ambarish Sharma, Shri Devendra Singh Narwaria, and Elixir Industries Private Limited Chairman Shri Arun Goyal, along with other local representatives and dignitaries. Energy Minister Pradyumn Singh Tomar, joining virtually, thanked the Chief Minister for advancing industrial development in the Gwalior-Chambal region. He noted that new industrial units at Gwalior’s Readymade Garment Park would generate employment for local youth.
Dr. Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to industrial development in the state. He stated that through Investors’ Summits and Regional Industry Conclaves, investors have been invited from both within the country and abroad, yielding positive results. Numerous industrial units are being established in the Gwalior-Chambal division, providing better employment opportunities for the region’s youth.
He also mentioned that alongside industrial growth, the government is making decisions to benefit farmers. The Chambal-Kalisindh-Parvati (PKC) Link Project will bring prosperity to the region, with Chambal receiving the most significant benefits.
Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel expressed happiness over the industrial progress in the Chambal region, stating that the Rs. 1,000 crore investment in Malanpur will mark a new chapter in the area’s development. The industrial boom is creating a favourable environment for economic growth and employment opportunities.
New & Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla emphasized that Prime Minister Modi’s vision and Chief Minister Yadav’s dedication have accelerated industrial growth in the state. The establishment of a Rs. 1,000 crore unit in Malanpur will provide better opportunities for the youth in the region.
Virtual Interaction with New Industrialists
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav virtually interacted with the entrepreneurs setting up new units at Gwalior Readymade Garment Park and Piparseva, Morena. He spoke with Amit Jain, Mohit Shivhare, Harshit Bansal, and Sanjay Khandelwal regarding their operations. Congratulating them, he urged them to contribute to the state’s development and play a crucial role in generating employment.
Employment Boost from New Unit in Malanpur
To elevate Madhya Pradesh’s industrial growth, Elixir Industries Private Limited is establishing a mega-scale modern unit at Malanpur with an investment of approximately ₹1,000 crore. This facility will manufacture Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF), plywood, and other value-added products. This project is a historic step for the state’s industrial landscape, promoting employment, agro-based industries, and a greener environment.
