Bhopal, Today On 27 August 2024 at around 10.30 AM Namibian male cheetah Pawan was found lying near the edge of a nala amidst bushes without any movement. The nala was running full due to rains. Vets were informed and on closer inspection, it was found that the front half of the body including head was inside the water with no external injuries seen anywhere on the body. Preliminary cause of death seems to be due to drowning. Further detail will be known after the PM report.
Remaining 12 adults and 12 cubs borne on Indian soil are doing good.
