Bhopal: On June 26, the complainant resident of Shankar Nagar Chhola Mandir Bhopal came to the police station and reported that her minor sister, age 16 years, who has gone somewhere from home without informing, on the report, crime was registered in Chhola Mandir police station and taken into investigation.
Under the guidance of senior officers, a team was formed under the leadership of police station in-charge Suresh Chandra Nagar to recover the kidnapped girl.
Using call details and other cyber related resources, the team found out that the suspect Saurabh Meskar, son of Munnalal Meskar, resident of Jatkhedi Misrod Bhopal, has taken the girl away with him by luring her with marriage. Based on the information received from the informer, the kidnapped girl was recovered on June 30. She confirmed in his statement that accused Saurabh Meshkar took her away on a motorcycle with his friend Tushar Mali, son of Kamlesh Mali, age 21 years, resident of Shankar Nagar, Chhola Mandir Bhopal, by deceiving her under the pretence of marriage. In this case, accused Tushar Mali and Saurabh have been arrested under sections 366A, 376, 120B IPC and POCSO Act. Police remand is taken from the accused to seize the motorcycle used in the incident.
PM report reveals girl fell from vehicle leading to fatal head injury
In another incident, the police have received the postmortem report in a case of the death of a girl under suspicious circumstances. Earlier, her death was reported due to falling after feeling dizzy. The Khajuri Sadak police station of Bhopal city was investigating this case. The postmortem report revealed that the girl died after falling from a vehicle. After this the police have registered a case. At present, the police have not been able to identify the vehicle yet.
According to the Khajuri Sadak police station, this accident took place on May 17. It is not clear where the accident took place. The injured in the accident was Sandhya Thakur, daughter of Ghanshyam Thakur, age 19 years. She lived in Sumethi village located in Begamganj police station area of ??Raisen district. Sandhya Thakur’s uncle’s daughter was suffering from cancer. She was undergoing treatment at Chirayu Hospital. Sandhya Thakur had come to Bhopal to take care of her. After getting injured, she was admitted to Chirayu Hospital for a few days. Her family members got her discharged. Then she stayed in front of the hospital for a few days. The hospital admitted her again. She died on 22nd May during treatment. The police was informed about this. Earlier, the police was told that she fell down due to dizziness. But, the postmortem report done in Hamidia Hospital revealed that she fell from a vehicle. Due to which she suffered a serious head injury. Khajuri Road Police was investigating the case by registering FIR 23/24. After investigation, the police registered FIR 216/24 under Section 304-A (case of death due to negligent driving) on ??28th June after getting the opinion of the doctors.
