Chief Minister Directs for Early Completion of Pending Works on Needam ROB

Bhopal, The newly constructed Vivekananda Needam Railway Over Bridge (ROB) in Gwalior will soon be dedicated to the public. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his recent transit visit to Gwalior, instructed Collector Ms. Ruchika Chauhan at the airport to ensure the early completion of the remaining work on the Needam ROB. The Chief Minister emphasized that the inauguration of the ROB will take place immediately after the remaining tasks are completed.

Following the Chief Minister’s directions, Gwalior District In-Charge and Minister for Water Resources Mr. Tulsiram Silawat also held a video conference with Divisional Commissioner Mr. Manoj Khatri, Collector Ms. Ruchika Chauhan, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Sangh Priya, and other concerned officials to review the progress. He directed that all outstanding work on the newly constructed ROB be completed promptly and with precision.

In compliance with the Chief Minister’s directives, Collector Ms. Chauhan conducted an inspection of the ROB on Saturday. She instructed the Executive Engineer of Setu Nigam to expedite work related to electrification, road finishing, and the connection of surrounding colonies to the ROB as per road safety standards.

During the inspection, she further directed that the installation of proper reflectors, construction of dividers, and speed breakers wherever necessary be carried out in a structured and safe manner. She emphasized that the finishing touches must be executed on a war footing to ensure public convenience and safety.

This proactive approach by the Madhya Pradesh government ensures that critical infrastructure projects like the Needam ROB are delivered efficiently and benefit the people of Gwalior at the earliest.
