Bhopal, Following the success of the Regional Industry Conclave initiated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at the divisional headquarters, the next event will take place at Gwalior headquarters. Prominent industrial representatives and investors have been invited to accelerate the industrial development of the Gwalior-Chambal region. Preparations for the conclave, which will be held at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University in Gwalior, a historic city in Madhya Pradesh, are now complete. The “City of Music,” Gwalior, is ready to warmly welcome its distinguished guests.
The one-on-one meetings will be the highlight of the conclave, where prominent industrialists and investors will explore investment opportunities in the Gwalior-Chambal region. Established industrial units in the region, including Jamna Auto Industries, Godrej Consumer Products, Supreme & Mandlays, Sanghvi Food, and Montage Enterprises, are set to expand their operations, bringing in approximately ₹2,260 crore in capital investment. This expansion is expected to create employment for over 4,500 people.
In the Gwalior “Regional Industry Conclave”, Shri Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited along with senior directors and officials from prominent companies like Reliance Industries, AGI Green Pack, Accenture Industries, Prime Gold, OFV Tech, BR Group, Marble Vinyls and Modern Techno are coming with industrial investment.
Trade commissioners of 6 nations to attend
Trade commissioners and industrial representatives from half a dozen countries are coming to participate in the Gwalior Conclave. These include Zambia’s Secretary of Economy and Trade, Sushri Ireen Akombelwa Apuleni and Secretary of Press – Tourism, Shri Benny Mundando, Mission Attaché of Tongo, Shri Maz Viayo Mendeli, Chief Diplomatic Agreement of Costa Rica, Sushri Sofia Salas Monge, Mexico’s Economic and Commercial Affairs Officer, Shri Ricardo Daniel, Delgardo Munoz and Sushri Kharlo Mario Quinonez, Trade Commissioner Miss Priya of Netherlands and Shri Ravi Tiwari of Canada.
Presentation by senior officials
Senior officials of the Principal Secretary level of the state government will give a presentation on the industrial possibilities of Madhya Pradesh including the Gwalior-Chambal region. A presentation will be given on “Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh” by Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion. Presentations will be given on “Opportunities in MSME and start-up sector in Madhya Pradesh” by Secretary MSME, Managing Director Handicraft Handloom Development Corporation Shri Mohit Bundas “Opportunities in rural handloom and handicraft industries in Madhya Pradesh”, Principal Secretary Mineral Resources Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, on “Opportunities in the field of Mineral Resources in Madhya Pradesh”, “Opportunities in ITESDM/ITES sector in Madhya Pradesh” by Principal Secretary Science and Technology Shri Sanjay Dubey and Principal Secretary Tourism Shri Sheoshekhar Shukla on “Opportunities in the field of tourism in Madhya Pradesh”.
Exhibition to Feature Stalls, Alongside Round Table Discussions
At the Regional Industry Conclave, the exhibition sector will feature stalls showcasing industrial products. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, along with other distinguished guests and entrepreneurs from India and abroad, will visit the exhibition. During the conclave, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will hold one-on-one meetings with industrialists. Round table discussions will cover topics such as the Gwalior PCB cluster, opportunities in the start-up and footwear sectors, and sectoral sessions will explore tourism opportunities, MSMEs, exports, and the “One District-One Product” initiative.
Union Communications Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and State Government Ministers Shri Prahlad Patel, Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Shri Chetan Kumar Kashyap, Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Shri Karan Singh Verma, Shri Ramniwas Rawat, Shri Adal Singh Kansana, Shri Govind Singh Rajput and Shri Rakesh Shukla and other ministers of the state government will participate in the conclave.
