Bhopal: Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria gave instructions to immediately provide grant money to the childcare institutions operated under Mission Vatsalya. She asked the department to list all such institutions that have been recognized for more than two or three years and are running the institution without any grant and instructed to present it for approval in the future PAB meeting.
Minister Bhuria said that children in need of child care and protection are extremely sensitive. Due to this, the services of these childcare institutions that have not been receiving grants for a long time, have been adversely affected. Therefore, it should also be ensured that these institutions get grants regularly in the future. A proper methodology should be developed for this. She has also directed the institutions to ensure that the residential children get quality services.
