Bhopal: For years there was a myth in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh that no king could stay here at night. For this reason no leader of the country stayed here at night. It was said behind this that the king here is Mahakal. This time Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav broke this myth. He stayed here at night. He said that I am the son of Lord Mahakal, I can stay here.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav told an incident behind the story that led to fear among leaders about stopping at night in Ujjain. He said that Scindia Maharaj had to move his capital to Gwalior as a strategy and to avoid any attack, this myth was created. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh said that King Mahakal is the king of the entire universe and not only of Ujjain.
Lord Mahakal is not king of Ujjain alone: CM
CM said that if Mahakal have to cause harm then they can do it anywhere. What does this have to do with municipal limits? Lord Mahakal is not only the king of the municipal limits, he is the king of the entire universe. It was Lord Mahakal’s wish, he made me the CM and asked me to break the myth here. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while addressing the gathering, said that this is an example.
Mohan Yadav said that it is a matter of good fortune for all of us and I am happy about this. I don’t know if some incident happened knowingly or unknowingly, it was definitely a political incident done by Maharaj Scindia. During the time of Daulat Rao ji, when the capital moved from here in 1852, he made equations. He said that the king will not stay here at night, otherwise once everything is settled, no one else will come here to take over.
Mohan Yadav said that after Scindia’s political strategy, knowingly or unknowingly we also started believing that the king would not stay at night. The king is Baba Mahakal. We are their sons, why won’t we stay at night? We are the children of Baba Mahakal. Baba is the one who gives birth and gives blessings.
