Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today provided funds for the purchase of scooties to 7 thousand 790 students who got first position in government high schools and higher secondary schools in 2022-23 in the state level scooty distribution program in Shahdol.
Talking about the increasing education facilities in the state, Chouhan said that he is determined to provide all opportunities for the education of his nephews and nieces and to move forward. He said that he is running the government considering Madhya Pradesh as his family. Children are the first concern in the family. That is why a large number of high schools and higher secondary schools were established in the state. CM Rise schools with world class standards and facilities are being constructed. Laptops and scooties are also being made available to the students.
Asia’s biggest sports climbing wall opened
Chief Minister Chouhan virtually inaugurated Asia’s largest ISC certified sports climbing wall built at a cost of Rs 6 crore 43 lakh at Vicharpur sports complex. Along with this, bhoomi-pujan of works worth Rs 96 crore 62 lakh was done and works worth Rs 6.43 crore were inaugurated. As a symbol, Chouhan handed over the keys of scooty to six students of Shahdol division and gave offer letters to the trainees of Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana. Chief Minister Chouhan was traditionally welcomed at the venue by wearing a tribal turban and a huge flower garland.
Students should not drive without helmet
Chouhan said that 15-16 years ago, due to lack of schools in the state, daughters used to leave studies after 5th or 8th standard, parents did not send their daughters to study in other villages. In this situation, a scheme has been started to provide cycles to the girls to continue their studies. With the aim of increasing the competitive spirit among the students, laptops and now scooty are being given to the first comers in the school. Chief Minister Chouhan called upon the students to drive the vehicle according to the rules and make sure to wear helmet while driving the scooty.
Inspiring the students, Chief Minister Chouhan said that hard work is necessary to achieve success in life. The state government has made special arrangements to provide assistance to meritorious students so that no student is deprived of higher education because of money.
