Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today paid a courtesy visit to Union Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles Minister Shri Piyush Goyal in Delhi on Monday and discussed with him issues related to his ministries.
During the meeting, topics like PM Mitra Park in Dhar, organization of Saree Walkathon, training proposal under National Technical Textile Mission, training of tribal women under Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana and Rabi procurement were discussed.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that the state government has completed the formalities like making a special purpose vehicle and transferring land for the PM Mitra Park in Dhar. PM Mitra Park is ready for Bhoomi Pujan by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged Union Minister Shri Goyal to extend support in organizing Saree Walkathon in the state for promotion of Chanderi, Maheshwari and Bagh prints. The Union Minister assured all possible assistance from the Textiles Ministry to the state government for organizing the Saree Walkathon. To make the Saree Walkathon successful, the Union Minister suggested involving local celebrities, local RJs and social media influencers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented the outline of the training proposals under the National Technical Textile Mission before the Union Minister. He said that Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana is also being run in the state in which the youth of the state are being given training along with stipend.
