- Guru Nanak Ji’s teachings and messages will guide us through the ages
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that when we remember Guru Nanak ji, who believed in brotherhood and concern for everyone in society, who brought everyone together and instilled the feeling of equality among the people, our minds are filled with joy. People who truly follow and internalize his messages live in more than 200 countries of the world and are working to spread his goodness and his messages to the people. He said that his teachings and messages, which pave the way for harmony and world brotherhood for humanity, will continue to guide us for ages.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Guru Nanak Dev raised a strong voice against atrocities and evils of the society. People accepted the messages of Guru Nanak Dev. He especially brought all women and the society together to face the biggest challenges of foreign invasions.
CM pays homage to Nishan Sahib
After offering prayers at Guru Granth Darbar, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav bowed to Nishan Sahib in the Gurudwara complex. He offered flowers and bowed with reverence at the Nishan Sahib dhwaj. Among those present on the occasion were Shri Narendra Saluja, Shri Surendra Singh Arora, Shri Sukhveer Singh and Shri Rahul Kothari and Sushri Inderjit Kaur Sandhu, Sushri Kamaljeet Kaur Saluja, Sushri Gurleen Khanuja, Sushri Premjit Kaur, Sushri Jagmeet Kaur from the Mahila Seva Mandal and members of the Sikh community.
CM greets people on Prakash Parv
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the people of the state on Guru Nanak Jayanti and Prakash Parv. He said that Prakash Parv should be organized with pomp and grandeur in the state. On the occasion of Prakash Parv, the Chief Minister also invited the Sikh community to a programme to be held at the Chief Minister’s residence on 17th November.
