CM Dr. Yadav Visits Bhopal Night Shelters and Distributes Blankets to the Needy

  • Collector instructed to start Ram-Roti in all night shelters
Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected night shelters of Bhopal on Friday night. During his visit, he interacted with passersby, the poor, and the destitute staying in the shelters, inquiring about their well-being. He also distributed blankets to everyone, ensuring their comfort during the cold weather.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the night shelter at Yadgar-e-Shahjahani Park, where he interacted with residents including Shri Karodilal Prajapati, Shri Hashib Khan, Shri Sanju Kushwaha, Shri Ravi Sharma from Kurwai, and Divyang Shri Pratap Malviya from Patharia, Damoh. He inquired about their well-being and the arrangements at the shelter. The passersby informed the Chief Minister that the arrangements were satisfactory but suggested that food provisions should also be made. Responding to this, Dr. Yadav instructed the Bhopal Collector to implement a Ram-Roti food arrangement in all night shelters. Shri Pratap Malviya shared that he visits the shelter every few days as he has no permanent residence and must support his four daughters. The Chief Minister directed the Collector to provide Shri Pratap with all possible assistance. Additionally, Dr. Yadav distributed blankets to everyone, ensuring their comfort during the cold season.

After this, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached the night shelter located near platform number 6 of the railway station. After inspecting the night shelter, he interacted with the passersby and poor people present there and distributed blankets to them as well. The Chief Minister talked to Shri Vishal Malviya, Shri Shankar Malviya, Shri Omraj, Shri Ashish Tiwari, Divyang Shri Vijay Aina (Gunawa) and asked the reason for their stay here. It was told that everyone has stayed here for further journey.

Discussed with women, gave them blankets too

While returning from inspecting the night shelter, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav noticed a group of women sitting near platform number 6. He stopped his vehicle, approached them, and inquired why they were there. The women explained that they were vegetable sellers and planned to spend the night in the open. Concerned for their welfare, the Chief Minister distributed blankets to them and directed the Collector to make proper arrangements for their stay. Dr. Yadav emphasized that the government is committed to the welfare of the poor and women, ensuring that no one is left out of government schemes. The distribution of blankets during the harsh winter provided much-needed relief to the needy. The Chief Minister also interacted with passersby, addressing their concerns, and reiterated that the government is prepared to offer every possible support to the underprivileged. Under the Garib Kalyan Mission, he assured that every effort will be made to empower the weaker sections of society, ensuring no one remains helpless.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the main objective of our government is to provide help to every person in the society. Our priority is that no one should face any trouble in this cold weather. Passers-by and the poor appreciated the sensitivity of the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude towards him. The Chief Minister showed his sensitivity and appealed to all the needy to avoid the cold as much as possible by giving them blankets and warm clothes.

During this, Collector Shri Kaushlendra Vikram Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Harendra Narayan along with Shri Sumit Pachauri, public representatives and officials were also present.
