College staff and students donated food to the needy

Like every year, the Commerce Department of the college organized Annadan-Mahadan Drive in the month of August, in which wheat, rice, pulses, flour, clothes, utensils were collected by about two thousand students of the Commerce Department and departmental colleagues. .

The main objective of this drive is to make the girl students understand their social responsibility towards the weak and deprived people of the society. About three quintals of rice, one quintal of pulses, one quintal of flour, clothes and utensils were donated by the students. The above donated material was donated to the NGO “Prerna Seva Trust” for arranging food for the patients admitted in Hamidia Hospital and their families. The girl students themselves participated in the food distribution. Under the guidance and patronage of Principal of the college, Dr. Shailbala Singh Baghel, Head of the Department of Commerce, Dr. Surendra Kaur Batra, Administrative Officer of the college, Dr. Ashok Nema, Dr. Sujata Bhatt and a large number of girl students were present in the above food donation.
