Investment will be encouraged for industrial development, says Dr Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that preparations for the Regional Industry Conclave, Vikramotsav and Vikram Trade Fair should be expedited. All events should be conducted in a well-planned and organized manner. CM Dr. Yadav said that investment for industrial development will be encouraged through the Regional Industry Conclave i.e. Summit. Industrial areas of the entire state including Ujjain will benefit from the summit.
Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted a detailed review of the preparations for the Regional Industry Conclave, Vikramotsav and Vikram Trade Fair at the Smart City Office of Ujjain. CM said that there is a lot of potential for industrial development in the state. These will be realized. On the basis of the Inventors Summit of Ujjain on March 1 and 2, the possibilities of setting up industries of different sectors in the entire state will be strong. This summit is being held to invite investment in various sectors.
Expedite preparations for industrial summit
CM Dr. Yadav said that other possibilities should also be explored for better organization of the Industrial Summit. He said that King Vikramaditya was a symbol of justice. Programs based on justice should also be included in Vikramotsav. A grand feast should also be organized on the occasion of Holi. He said that a detailed action plan should be prepared regarding Kothi Palace of Ujjain to make the palace self-reliant. Also plan for conference hall, rooftop restaurant, convenient parking arrangements. In the meeting, Collector Shri Neeraj Kumar Singh gave detailed information regarding the outline of the programs through a power point presentation.
According to the scheduled program, on March 1 at 10:30 am, Regional Industry Conclave, Vikramotsav and Vikram Trade Fair, inauguration of Vikramaditya Vedic Clock and foundation stone laying program of Veer Bharat Museum will be held at Kalidas Academy, Ujjain under the chief hospitality of CM Dr. Yadav. Preparations for the program are in the final stages. Main attractions of Ujjayani Vikram Trade Fair in Ujjain: 50 percent discount in registration fee and road tax on non-transport vehicles and small transport vehicles, sale of electronic equipment, non-transport vehicles and transport vehicles of various companies, garments and other equipment at reasonable prices.
Stalls related to specific cuisines are included. There will also be cultural and entertainment programs. Information regarding agriculture and allied sectors and cottage and village industries will also be given in the fair. Under the Ujjayani Vikram Trade Fair, the program of Automobiles Electronics and Food Zone has been proposed at Dussehra Ground, commercial shops, Automobiles Swing and Food Zone at PGBT Ground and cultural programs have been proposed at Kalidas Academy Triveni Museum and Polytechnic Ground. Major automobile electronics companies participating in the Ujjain trade fair include Mahindra, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Yamaha, Nexa, Royal Enfield, Hero Honda, Samsung, Panasonic, HP, Dell, Maruti Suzuki etc.
