Cong leader commits suicide along with family in Chhattisgarh

Janjgir, Sept 1 (UNI) A Congress leader in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh, along with his wife and two sons, consumed poison, resulting in the elder son’s immediate death, while the Congress leader, wife, and younger son were admitted in critical condition to SIMS Hospital in Bilaspur, where all three died on Sunday morning.

The Congress leader has taken this action due to financial difficulties, and the police is currently investigating the matter, according to the sources.

Congress leader Panchram Yadav (66), resident of Bongapar in Janjgir, his wife Dinesh Nandani Yadav (55), sons Neeraj Yadav (Bunty) (28) and Suraj Yadav (25) consumed poison together on August 30.

To avoid anyone from knowing, they locked the front door and went back through the back door and locked the door from inside as well. This was revealed when a girl living in the neighborhood went to his house. When the door was not opened even after calling two-three times, she suspected something untoward and informed the people around. When the neighbour and his relatives went inside the house, everyone was lying in a serious condition.
