New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) The Congress on Thursday held a meeting to discussed the political strategy for the ensuing Mizoram assembly elections.
The party’s Central Election Committee met at AICC headquarters here.
After the meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said people of Mizoram are vying for change in the upcoming assembly polls.
Kharge said, “We are confident that Mizoram shall strengthen the Congress party and give us a chance to serve, like we have in the past.”
He further said the party has a historic connection with this beautiful state, encompassing peace, development and welfare.
