Congress’s focus up to the polling station level
State Congress has focused maximum attention on the polling booth this time to counter the organization of BJP. After making booths, sectors and mandalams, associate organizations have also been asked to focus on the polling station level instead of organizing big programmes. The Congress organization is making efforts that along with the candidate, the organization should also have its own preparation. Till now the entire team of the candidate stays at the polling station. He is the one who collects all the arrangements from campaigning till the day of polling. This time this responsibility has been given to the associate organizations. A target has been set to deploy four workers at each polling station. Along with this, the district and block units are also handling the task of publicity. Recently, the organization raised the issue of oppression of tribals by taking out Adivasi Swabhiman Yatra. They had a meeting with various social organizations and now preparations are on to set up a village chaupal.
Workers will engage in campaigning
Along with the candidates, workers of all the organizations will engage in campaigning. The responsibility of getting voters out of their homes for voting, creating an atmosphere in favor of the party, promoting five guarantees, and taking the failure of the BJP government to the public has also been entrusted to the allied organisations. Everyone has also intensified the preparations at their own level. Their work will start at the polling stations from September. Here, the state Congress has appointed in-charges and co-in-charges to monitor the work of associate organizations, who will ensure that the responsibility given to the organizations is actually fulfilled.
