Bhopal: After digitally arresting a businessman in Arera Colony of the capital, a similar incident happened with an engineer living in Station Bajaria. Cyber ??fraudsters kept the young engineer under digital arrest in his own house for about 6 hours and were demanding Rs 4 lakh to escape police action. When family members and friends got suspicious, they informed the Crime Branch, after which they reached the spot.

Officers saved the engineer from the fraudsters. The engineer told that he used to make other people aware about such incidents, but these fraudsters put such pressure on him that he could not understand anything. According to the information, Pramod Kumar, who lives in Station Bajaria, is an engineer in a telecom company.

On Tuesday evening, an unknown person called him. He said that many other mobile SIM cards have been taken on your Aadhar card, which are being misused. Now police action will be taken against you for this. Pramod got a little scared on hearing the name of the police, then the caller told him not to tell anything to anyone and to talk on video call.

After that Pramod started talking to him on video call. During this, Pramod saw the scene of the office of police, lawyer and other officials. Three people were talking to him on video call. They said that the way the SIM cards taken on your Aadhar card have been used, it becomes a big case. Pramod Kumar had never gone to the police station, so he got very scared. The caller was talking to him about ending the case by paying a fine of three and a half to four lakh rupees.

He told the police officials that the fraudsters had scared him so much that he was about to transfer the money to him. The Crime Branch has registered a case against three unknown people in this matter. Efforts are being made to arrest the accused on the basis of mobile numbers.

Mobile and cash stolen from passengers

The series of theft of mobile phones and belongings continues in passenger trains passing through Bhopal.
