Bhopal. Nishatpura police arrested the accused who shot a bike rider after chasing him following a dispute over vehicle collision. The accused is a monitored criminal of TT Nagar area. Nishatpura police station in-charge Rupesh Dubey said that Station Bajariya resident Zahid Khan was going towards Karond Mandi on Wednesday on a bike with his friend Zoheb. Meanwhile, near Best Price, their bike collided with an Activa, due to which a dispute started between the drivers. When the scooter rider tried to take out the gun, the bike riders ran away to save their lives. On this, the scooter rider chased and fired a shot, due to which the bullet hit Zahid’s hand. When the police searched for the owner on the basis of the scooter number, it was found that the scooter was taken by Nilesh Kamle alias Nilesh Shooter resident of Panchsheel Nagar police station TT Nagar. When the police took Nilesh into custody and interrogated him, he accepted firing the shot. Police said that several criminal cases are already registered against the accused in various police stations including TT Nagar.
