- Asks officers to ensure timely completion of works
Bhopal: Chief Secretary Anurag Jain held a meeting with all the collectors and superintendents of police of the state through video conferencing on Monday. In this first meeting with the field officers, the Chief Secretary made it clear to all the officers that their priority is in the works with time limit.
In this meeting which lasted for more than half an hour through video conferencing, Chief Secretary Jain spoke directly to the collectors and superintendents of police. In the meeting, CS Jain also gave instructions to work keeping in mind the arrangements for the fair to be held in Ratangarh of Datia district on Purnima. During this, he was told that the Ratangarh bridge which was washed away in the flood two years ago has now started. The Chief Secretary has also taken the report of departmental work from the police and administration officers.
DGP attends the meeting from Balaghat
All the IGs and ADGs posted in the range also attended this VC meeting. DGP Sudhir Saxena also attended the meeting. Saxena is on a tour of Balaghat range. Therefore, in the CS video conferencing meeting held on Monday, DGP Saxena joined the meeting from Balaghat NIC and told the police report.
The Chief Secretary’s priorities are that the construction work of all the small and big projects that are working should be done on time. The work should be done within the time limit on the basis of the timeline fixed for the scheme and the work.
CS said that the Navratri festival has passed and now the preparations for Diwali have started. Therefore, the Collector and SP will focus on law and order. He said that the licenses of firecracker shops should be checked properly for Diwali. There should not be any kind of irregularity and negligence.
Patients of seasonal diseases like dengue and chikungunya are increasing. Necessary treatments should be done to prevent these diseases.
The procurement of crops should be done on time. Soybean and paddy should be procured on the basis of the system decided by the government.
Jain said that the problem of DAP fertilizer has come to the fore in some districts. Officials should work with focus on not allowing the shortage of fertilizers and seeds in the districts and not allowing any kind of unpleasant situation to arise.
