Bhopal: Cyber fraudsters cheated 2 people of more than Rs 2.66 crore by luring them to earn more profit by investing money in the share market. After receiving the complaint, the Cyber ??Crime Branch has registered a case of fraud against unknown fraudsters. According to the information, both these incidents of fraud happened with people living in Baghsewania and Misrod. A youth living in Baghsewania was added on WhatsApp named Excel Student in the month of April. After that there was a discussion about investing in the share market. A woman associated with the group told that more profit is being earned by investing money in the share market. When the complainant agreed to this, he was asked to download an online application. Along with this, a user name and password were given. After that, an amount of more than 85 lakh 30 thousand was deposited from the complainant. When a total amount of more than 3 crore 77 lakh including profit was deposited in his account, he wanted to withdraw it. For this, he was asked to deposit 20 percent amount in PF, so he deposited 58 lakh 41 thousand rupees. After that, he was asked to deposit 30 percent amount to get the money, then he realized that he was cheated.

Similar fraud happened with another person living in Misrod. The fraudsters added him to the same WhatsApp group and then sent an online application in the name of Excel Company and got it downloaded. The fraudsters have cheated both the persons of a total amount of more than 2 crore, 66 lakh, 21 thousand. Police is tracking down the accused.

JCB worth 25 lakh stolen

Along with two-wheelers, the miscreants are not shying away from stealing heavy vehicles as well. A JCB machine parked on Jail Road in Nishatpura was stolen. The price of the stolen JCB is said to be 25 lakh rupees. Here, the miscreants also stole 8 two-wheelers from different areas. The police have registered a case against unknown thieves in all the cases. According to the information, Raees Khan (58) lives in village Hinautia New Ashok Vihar Ashoka Garden and works as a contractor as well as operating a JCB machine. On Sunday night at around 8 o’clock, he had parked his JCB near Alexander Green Colony on Jail Road. On Monday morning at around 9 o’clock, when driver Asif went to check, the JCB had disappeared.
