MP government has increased the DA of the pensioners of the state by 4 percent. At the same time, the dearness allowance of the employees will be increased from August. The DA has increased from 42 percent to 46 percent.
In the Shivraj government, the dearness allowance of the state employees as well as the All India Service officers was increased. Employee organizations are demanding dearness allowance equal to the central government i.e. 50 percent. This time in the budget, provision has been made in the establishment expenditure of all departments according to 56 percent dearness allowance. This also includes dearness relief to pensioners. 4 lakh pensioners are currently getting dearness relief at the rate of 46 percent.
It is worth noting that earlier the state government has also given great news regarding the salary of lakhs of contract officers and employees in the state. The salary of all the contract employees of the state can increase from Rs 700 to Rs 3000. The government has decided to increase salaries at a rate of 3.85 per cent based on the consumer price index.
