Manila, Feb 22 (UNI) The death toll from the truck crash in the central Philippines on Wednesday rose to 15 as one of the critically injured died in a hospital, police said on Thursday.
Police said two other injured people are recuperating at a local hospital.
The truck was traveling along a highway in Mabinay town in Negros Oriental province on Wednesday afternoon, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and roll into a ravine.
The upside-down truck pinned some of the passengers under the vehicle while some were thrown out, police said.
