New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) The air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to remain in the “very poor” category, with the AQI level reaching 321 as of 7 PM on Tuesday.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI at the Anand Vihar station was recorded at 400, Burari Crossing registered an AQI of 352, Sonia Vihar’s AQI reached 347, Punjabi Bagh recorded an AQI of 346, and Patparganj recorded an AQI of 353.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Delhi and NCR are likely to experience smog and shallow fog during the night and morning hours throughout this week.
An Air Quality Index between 0 and 50 is considered good, between 51 and 100 satisfactory, between 101 and 200 moderate, between 201 and 300 poor, and between 301 and 400 very poor. An AQI between 401 and 450 is considered severe.
