Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel participated in cleanliness activities under the “One Date, One Hour, One Together” campaign on October 1 and donated labor. Governor Patel cleaned the garbage in the New Market complex with a broom. He administered the oath of cleanliness to the people and cleaning workers present in the ‘Shramdaan for cleanliness’ programme. Giving the example of Indore, the Governor inspired the people of Bhopal to become leaders of cleanliness in the country. New Market Traders Association and public representatives congratulated Governor Patel by presenting him a sapling and a shawl.
Governor Patel said that children should be inculcated with the culture of cleanliness. Explain the importance of always keeping your home and premises clean. Make cleanliness a habit. Inspire children to maintain cleanliness through their own behavior and conduct. Cleanliness campaign is not a one day campaign, we should conduct it 365 days of the year.
