- Energy Conservation Capacity Festival begins at NITTR
Bhopal – Emphasizing the critical link between energy conservation and global development, Minister of State Krishna Gaur inaugurated the Energy Conservation Capacity Festival at NITTR. Gaur stressed the responsibility of citizens to utilize energy efficiently and conserve resources. She lauded the Energy Environment Awareness Campaign and advocated for its expansion into schools and colleges, highlighting the importance of green and clean energy for a sustainable environment.
Gaur acknowledged the initiatives of Indian Oil and other oil companies in promoting cleaner energy solutions. She cited examples such as the transition to BS VI fuel, the establishment of EV charging stations, and the development of products like Extra Green Diesel and Compressed Biogas. Given geopolitical realities, she underscored the urgent need to reduce dependence on crude oil. The event saw the presence of Indian Oil Chief General Manager TN Sundar Rajan, along with other dignitaries and a large student contingent.
