Digital age changed language of films

A special lecture was organized on Thursday in the Department of Media Management and Department of Cinema Studies of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University. The Department of Media Management organized a one-day personality development orientation program

Personality: Key to Career Growth

The program began with the inaugural address of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. (Dr.) K.G. Suresh, where he highlighted some basic points of personality development such as communication skills, self-confidence, credibility and knowledge. Prof. Suresh said that success is not achieved only by a person’s external appearance, but also by his conversation, movement, gestures and behavior. The chief guest of the program, Professor Sajal Mukherjee, Director of Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, Dwarka, New Delhi, said that basic development should start from a very early stage.

Addressing the students, Dr. Rachna Sharma said that technology is being used a lot in films today, with the advent of digital cinematography, filmmakers now have unprecedented creative control. High definition cameras, digital editing tools and CG have redefined the way films tell stories. And it has also changed the movie watching experience of the audience.
