Outgoing Director of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal, Dr. Bhuvan Vikram and Regional Director, Archaeological Survey of India, Bhopal, handed over the charge of Director of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal to Dr. Amitabh Pandey on Monday.
Before this, Dr. Amitabh Pandey was working as a professor at the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal. Dr. Amitabh Pandey, while assuming the charge of the Director, told in an informal discussion with the museum officials that he has been associated with this museum for a long time due to educational, cultural, community and administrative activities and as the Director of the Manav Sanghralay the unique cultural heritage of the country. But it is my good fortune to be associated with it and I will try to complete the activities of this museum at the highest level as per the expectations and rules of the Government of India where people feel proud. This work will be possible only with everyone’s cooperation. You all have put in the blood and sweat, that is why this museum is recognized as a world class museum.
