E-rickshaw service starts to bring patients from BMHRC main gate to hospital

A free e-rickshaw service was launched on Tuesday to bring patients from the main gate of BMHRC to the emergency OPD block of the hospital. Dr Manisha Srivastava, Director in-charge of BMHRC, flagged off the service. This e-rickshaw will be available for the service of patients from 8 am to 8 pm. On this occasion, Dr Manisha Srivastava said that at present one e-rickshaw has been started. The number of vehicles will be increased if needed. A shed will be constructed near the main gate to protect the patients from sun, rain etc. and chairs will also be placed, so that the patients do not face any problem while waiting for the vehicle. She said that we are also trying to facilitate bus service to bring patients from health centers to BMHRC.
