Education fund for children of policemen increased

  • Rs 4 to 50 thousand will be given for 11th-12th to higher education

Mohan Yadav government has increased the amount of fee reimbursement given to the children of police officers and policemen of Madhya Pradesh. According to the order issued by PHQ, students pursuing 11th, 12th to graduation, MBBS, BDS and other professional degrees will be given assistance ranging from Rs 4000 to Rs 50 thousand on the basis of percentage.

According to the order issued, children from DSP to constable will be eligible for financial assistance. Rs 4 thousand will be given for scoring more than 85 percent marks in 11th-12th. Whereas, Rs 40 thousand will be given to students for scoring more than 60 percent marks in graduation. Similarly, an assistance amount of Rs 50 thousand will be given for scoring more than 60 percent marks in MBBS.

It has been clarified in the order that this fee reimbursement scheme is for 2024-2025. The fee reimbursement for the old session (2023-2024) will be done as per the old rules. It has also been clarified in the order that out of the total fee deposited by the applicant, excluding caution money, hostel and mess charges, the remaining amount or whichever is higher in the prescribed amount will be released in the student’s account.
