Eight lakh Indian tourists visited Malaysia so far: Malaysia Tourism director

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) Eight lakh Indian tourists have so far visited Malaysia this year and every Indian has spent Rs one lakh in the country, said Noriah Jaafar, director, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, here on Saturday.

Indian tourists can now travel to Malaysia without the hassle of a visa, making it easier to plan spontaneous trips and explore the country anytime throughout the year, she said.

In Malaysia, Diwali along with Sarawak International Dragon Boat Regatta, Petronas Grand Prix 2024 are celebrated with immense enthusiasm, she added.
