- Presiding Officers reach home to take votes

Presiding officers are reaching the homes of elderly and disabled voters to take their votes. This time, the Election Commission has provided the facility for elderly and disabled voters above 80 years of age to vote from home.
In such a situation, elderly and disabled voters exercised their franchise from home. Taking advantage of this new facility of the Commission, they voted from their homes also. Voting for elderly and disabled voters has also started from Tuesday for seven assembly seats of Bhopal. Amidst security arrangements, the polling team reached the homes of elderly and disabled voters and conducted the voting. The process of voting from home will continue for three days. Voting will be conducted till November 9. There are a total of 27089 voters aged 80+ in all the seven assemblies of Bhopal. Whereas the number of disabled voters is 15 thousand 747. During this period, videography of every voter will be done. Voting can be done from 9 am to 5 pm. In this entire process, voting is conducted through postal ballot. The Commission is also trying to ensure that no elderly or disabled person is inconvenienced.
Party agents were also present
The polling team is also informing the agents of political parties to conduct fair elections. Agents of political parties are also present there while taking the votes of elderly or disabled people. Along with this, political parties are also keeping a close watch on this process of zone voting.
