Bhopal: Today’s budget is an excellent budget made for the development of the proletariat class residing in Madhya Pradesh. In this, revolutionary steps have been taken for the all-round development of the state. By implementing the budget, our state will move towards becoming a developed state. Urban Development and Housing and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya described the Budget 2024-25 as an unprecedented one made with tireless hard work for the sustainable development of the state and said that in this, big provisions have been made for the development of villages and farmers as well as cities of the state. From this budget, funds have been allocated as per the requirement for the development and expansion of electricity, water, roads, sanitation, sewerage and proper transport system in the cities of the state. To provide maximum facilities to the citizens residing in the cities, our government has laid special emphasis on infrastructural construction works. This budget will transform all the cities of our state. Our government has made necessary budget provisions to start metro rail facilities in Indore and Bhopal as soon as possible. A provision of Rs 16,744 crore has been proposed for urban development for the year 2024-25, which is Rs 1,836 crore more than the year 2023-24.
