49-year-old Mahendra Nagesh’s father Roop Singh was a government teacher. Educated up to Higher Secondary, Mahendra became active in politics from 1992 and became Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Kamod only after 2 years. In 1999, he won the election as district member in Janpad Panchayat Gotegaon. Elected to the post of District Panchayat President in 2004. Since the year 2009, he has been working on various positions in the BJP organization. In 2020, after the formation of the BJP government after 15 months of Congress rule in the state, on the advice of Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, once again Mahendra Nagesh started public relations by going from village to village, in 2022, Nagesh started public relations in 400 villages of Gotegaon assembly.
