FIFA launches second edition of Integrity Handbook

Geneva, June 26 (UNI) FIFA launched the second edition of Integrity Handbook to help member associations “protect the integrity of football,” the world football governing body announced on Tuesday.

The book, developed by the FIFA Integrity group, provides a step-by-step, in-depth analysis of where to begin, what to know and what to do, FIFA announced.

“Compared to the first edition, there is an increased emphasis on the integrity action plan with content dedicated to establishing education initiatives at local level. It also contains a new section on the adjudication of integrity-related offenses, explaining in detail the step-by-step process to ensure legally correct decisions taken against respondents involved in disciplinary proceedings,” according to the FIFA statement.

The handbook was presented at the two-day FIFA Integrity Summit in Singapore in April.
