Bhopal: The Independence Day will be celebrated with joy and pomp. The main celebration of Independence Day in the state capital Bhopal will be held on August 15 under the chief patronage of CM Mohan Yadav at Lal Parade Ground.
In the presence of Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena, the full dress parade and final rehearsal of Independence Day celebrations took place at Lal Parade Ground here today. Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena, Additional Director General of Police Sajid Farid Shapoo, Police Commissioner Bhopal Harinarayanchari Mishra, Deputy Commissioner Bhopal Kiran Gupta and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan along with other officials took stock of the arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations. During the final rehearsal of the full dress parade, Assistant Sub Inspector Hira Lal Yadav of the 7th Battalion played the role of the chief guest symbolically and after hoisting the flag, singing the national anthem and saluting the parade, he inspected the parade and read out the message. After that, the program concluded.
