Ganja smugglers nabbed

Bhopal, A reliable informer came to the police station and informed the Crime Branch team that a man was carrying a grey coloured backpack on his back in the shed of Govindpura vegetable market, and a woman of about 30 years was with him. Ganja was kept in the backpack and bag carried by both of them. They were standing and waiting for a customer to give Ganja to him. They were surrounded and caught with the help of the accompanying staff. When they were asked their names and addresses after introducing themselves and the staff, they told their names to be Bhupendra Singh Pal, son of Prem Singh Pal, age 22 years, Sangeeta alias Riya, wife of Dheeraj Thakur, age 29 years. When both the suspects were asked about the backpack and bag, they told that they were their own. The total amount of drugs recovered from both the accused is 8 kg 20 grams. The cost of the said drug is approximately Rs. 1,60,000. The crime against the accused was registered and investigation was taken up.
