Bhopal: Residents no longer need to face hassle when updating their gender details on their Aadhar card. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced a special provision for this process. Individuals can now email their request to help@uidai.gov.in to update their gender on Aadhar.
This change comes after continuous complaints from Bhopal and other regions across the state regarding the difficulty in making such updates. In response, the portal has been updated to streamline the process and reduce inconvenience for users. Now, when submitting a request through the portal, users will need to provide their 28-digit enrollment ID. Once submitted, the application for correcting gender details will be processed directly through the portal.
This update is designed to make the process more efficient and user-friendly, ensuring a smoother experience for all Aadhar card holders.
