Moscow, Oct 28 (UNI) NATO has called for a comprehensive investigation into reports of election-related violations in Georgia, NATO spokesperson Farah Dakhllalah said on Monday.
“Reports of election-related violations should be fully investigated,” Dakhllalah wrote on X.
Dakhllalah said that the International Election Observation Mission highlighted an “uneven playing field” in Georgia’s elections, which has impacted public confidence in the election’s results.
The Central Election Commission of Georgia completed the vote count from all polling stations on Sunday. According to the results of the ballot processing, the ruling Georgian Dream party received 53.92% of the votes. Four opposition parties also entered parliament, receiving a total of 37.78%.
