GG flyover will be completed by end of Sep

Bhopal: Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh inspected the under construction GG flyover and the new building under construction at JP Hospital (1250). During this, MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani and departmental officials were also present.

Minister Shri Singh inspected the GG flyover being constructed between Gayatri Mandir and Ganesh Mandir at a cost of Rs 148 crore. During the inspection, he got information about the reasons for the delay in the construction of the flyover. Officials said that this delay was happening due to lack of coordination in various works of Metro, Municipal Corporation, and District Administration. Now the pace of work has been accelerated by establishing coordination between all the concerned departments. Instructions were also given to speed up the construction work and complete it soon by holding a meeting of departmental officials.

Minister Shri Singh directed that the work of the flyover should be completed by the end of September. The length of this 15 meter wide flyover is 2734 meters (about 2.75 kilometers). 60% of the traffic coming to MP Nagar will pass through GG flyover, due to which a distance of 2.75 km will be covered in just 5 minutes.

New building under construction at JP Hospital

Minister Shri Singh also inspected the new building under construction at JP Hospital (1250) with 195 beds and 4 operation theaters at a cost of Rs 26.63 crore. He got information about the current progress of the construction work and instructed the concerned officials to speed up the work and pay special attention to quality.

Completion of these construction works will improve the traffic system of Bhopal and health facilities will also increase, which will provide great convenience to the citizens.
