Bhopal: Talaiya police have registered a case against a youth on the report of a girl for physically exploiting her on the pretext of marriage. The accused refused to marry the girl and when her marriage was fixed with another boy, he broke the marriage by telling about his relationship. Police is trying to arrest the accused.
According to the police, the 22-year-old girl living in Shahjahanabad area does domestic work after studying till 12th. In March 2023, she became friends with a youth named Ahad Khan through social media Instagram. Ahad is originally from Narsinghgarh district Rajgarh and lives on rent in Talaiya area and does private work.
When the two became friends, Ahad took the girl with him to a rented house on the pretext of taking her for a walk and raped her on the pretext of marriage. He kept physically exploiting the girl for a long time. A few days ago, the girl’s family fixed her marriage with another young man. When Ahad came to know about this, he got angry and told his fiancée’s family about their relationship, due to which the boy’s family broke the relationship.

Elderly woman burnt by burning lamp dies
An elderly woman burnt by a burning lamp on the night of Diwali in Misrod area died in the hospital during treatment. The police registered a case and after conducting the post-mortem, handed over the body to the family. According to the police, Phoolvaso Devi Mishra (91) lived in Shrikrishnapuram Colony Misrod. Everyone including son and daughter-in-law live in the family. On the night of Diwali, the whole family was celebrating the festival of Diwali. After lighting the lamps in the house, everyone was bursting crackers outside at around 10 pm. Being elderly, Phoolvaso was inside the house. She got up for some work and was going towards the kitchen, when her saree caught fire from the lamp kept near the gate. Hearing the screams of Phoolvaso, the family members went inside and somehow extinguished the fire. After that, she was taken to AIIMS hospital for treatment, where the woman died during treatment on Friday afternoon. The police registered a case and after conducting a postmortem, handed over the body to the family.

Man crushed by truck in Koh-e-Fiza
A truck loaded with gas cylinders crushed a man near the cave temple in Koh-e-Fiza on Saturday morning, due to which he died on the spot. The police registered a case and after conducting a postmortem, handed over the body to the family. After the accident, the driver fled leaving the truck, which has been seized by the police. Efforts are being made to arrest the driver.
According to the police, Nand Kishore (54) lived in BDA Colony Koh-e-Fiza and worked as a tailor at a shop in Ibrahimpura. On Saturday morning, he left home for a walk. At around nine in the morning, he was going towards the Gufa Mandir to get cow dung for Govardhan Puja, when a truck loaded with gas cylinders hit him. In this accident, Nand Kishore died on the spot. After the accident, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, recovered the body, sent it for post-mortem and seized the truck. Information about the driver is being collected from the gas agency.
