Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that along with making education knowledge-based, it should be centered on the values of service, culture and sensitivity. Students should always remember the values of education and the institute. Do not forget the struggles of parents and respect their contribution and be grateful. Patel was addressing the silver jubilee celebrations of IES Group. He also appealed to the people present and the students to join the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Gautam Tetwal was present on this occasion.
Prepare students in accordance with future’s needs
Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that the new National Education Policy has been implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build a capable, strong, prosperous and developed India. He said that coordination between the professional and practical aspects of education is necessary. The institute will have to prepare the future generation in accordance with the needs of the future. For this, various dimensions of the new National Education Policy will have to be implemented effectively. He appreciated the achievements of the students of the institute at national and international level in the fields of sports, self-employment, management, etc. and congratulated the proper leadership and management of the institute for 25 years.
Addressing the silver jubilee function, Minister of State Mr. Gautam Tetwal appreciated the efforts of the institute to promote more meritorious students. Dr. Bharat Singh Sharan, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Private University Commission, spoke about continuing the cooperation, activism and commitment of the institute to realize the concepts of developed India.
Governor Mr. Mangubhai Patel inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Mr. Patel was welcomed by Chancellor of IES University Engg BS Yadav with a flower bouquet and felicitated by presenting shawl, coconut and memento. Governor Mr. Patel presented 25 saplings to the institute for plantation on the occasion of silver jubilee. He also honored meritorious students in the function. Welcome speech was given by Chancellor Engg. Mr. BS Yadav and vote of thanks was given by CEO of IES Group Devansh Singh. Local public representatives, Chancellor Prof Sunita Singh, students and concerned were present in the programme.
