- CM takes part in Tiranga Yatra
Bhopal: Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan have extended greetings and good wishes to the citizens on 15th August Independence Day. On this occasion a Tiranga Yatra was taken out in which CM Chouhan took part.
Tiranga Yatra, started from Vilinikaran Shaheed Smriti Dwa and culminated at Curfew Wali Mata Mandir. There was a grand programme at Curfew Wali Mata Mandir.
CM and Governor Patel paid tributes to the revolutionaries, patriots and brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom.
Governor Shri Patel has said in his message that the whole world is looking at India with hope and possibilities in every field. “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is being proclaimed all over the world. He said that the Independence Day is an occasion to take inspiration from the sacrifices of the martyrs and to make a commitment to move towards new horizons.
Governor Shri Patel has appealed to the citizens to contribute to the government’s efforts of “Sabka Saath-Vishvas-Prayas Se Sabka Vikas”. Celebrating the Amrit Kaal of independence as a period of duty to serve the nation, participate in the efforts to spread the light of development to the underprivileged and make their lives happy.
