Green cell finalized for 472 buses

Bhopal: The central government has completed the tender process for the operation of electric buses, in which green cell has been finalized for 472 buses. These buses will start running on the roads of the capital and other 5 cities by the end of this year.

In fact, operation of e-buses is expected to start in the capital and other 5 districts of the state, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior and Sagar. Operation of Prime Minister e-buses will start. According to the information, the state will get 552 e-buses, out of which green cell has been finalized for 472 buses. However, it is not yet known at what rate the concerned firm will operate these buses.

Now Green Cell will have a contract with the concerned bodies. 9 meter long e-buses will be operated in 6 cities of the state. For this, depots will be built for the buses in the concerned bodies and charging infrastructure will also be prepared. After this, e-buses will start coming to Madhya Pradesh. Let us tell you that these buses will be operated on the GCC model. In this, the concerned firm will buy the bus and will also make arrangements for its driver, conductor and maintenance. Its operation will be paid at the rate of per km. In this, the Government of India will pay Rs 22 per km for the operation of each bus, while the rest will be paid by the state government.
